The SPIG (Smokeduct Plank Installation Gantry) is equipment designed for the handling and installation of prefabricated planks used to cover tunnel smoke extraction ducts.

The portal structure allows for travel along the tunnel while maintaining full control over load conditions and the stability of the machine-element assembly. The equipment receives the plank within its frame, performing lifting, rotation, and positioning at height through controlled kinematics. Each configuration is custom-engineered based on the geometries, weights, dimensions, and assembly sequences required by the project.
