Modernization focuses on refurbishing and restoring existing components, including structural reinforcement, overhaul of mechanical systems such as wheels, gears and drums, gearbox maintenance, and upgrades to electrical and automation systems. The objective is to restore the equipment’s original performance and improve its reliability without altering its overall configuration.
Upgrading, on the other hand, involves integrating new systems to enhance operating capacity, control and safety. This may include the installation of variable frequency drives (VFDs), PLCs, radio remote controls, UPS systems, video surveillance systems, customized lifting accessories, and advanced solutions such as anti-collision systems and intelligent monitoring.
